KAJIADO COUNTY PROJECTS

Kajiado is known to be a semi arid area and it sometimes get very dry such that there is no food for the inhabitants. FOREM has been trying to educate the Masai community who are the main inhabitants on how this calamity can be solved. Enlightening them on drought resistant crops. They also encourage them to sell their livestocks when the drought is beckoning so as to reduce the losses they incur. The organisation is appealing for funds for sinking boreholes in the area so as to provide water for drinking and subsistence farming as well.
